We opened our door to artists and ideas and a conversation began to form. Black Mirror, mass media, doom scroll fever. We have access to more info than our evolutionary minds can manage yet are over-stimulated beyond the ability to make a move. Move mighty mountains move. And yet we do. The conversation crossed oceans, and like mycelium underground networks began to form. Art, ideas, activity, it turns out, intrinsically we know what to do. 

Beyond the Frame brings together artists working across different media, in different towns, landscapes and countries, connected by a choice. A choice to detach from the things that steal our attention and time, and make time to remind ourselves about what matters to us most. It’s about survival. About the things that affect us and how we chose to respond. Here we have artists local, national and international talking together, sharing the landscapes of themselves through their art. And you are part of that. The conversation goes on, let’s make the most of what matters.
