Instigate Arts is a Stockport based arts organisation run by Anne Louise Kershaw. A Community Interest Company, which aims to create positive, progressive social change through arts production and participation. We work to support and showcase marginalised artists, question representation, subvert the hierarchies of space and to inspire civic engagement and agency. They specifically focus on curating and developing projects, exhibitions and events combining the arts, archives, academia and activism and with cross-practice/sector/community collaboration.
