Anne Louise Kershaw

Director of Instigate Arts CIC. 

Founder of Instigate Arts, Anne Louise is a curator, creative producer, writer, and professional multi-media artist with over twenty year’s experience working in arts for social change. With extensive experience in arts management and production, Anne Louise is also a member of Culture Stockport who create Stockport’s cultural strategy. Jo Byrne, Director of Development & Operations

Formerly of The Kings Arms and Islington Mill, Jo now works as Head of Operations at Salford Museum & Art Gallery. She is experienced in the running and financing of arts organisations and in dynamic relationship building.

Jess Coulson, Director of Music, Access & Grassroots activity

Former creative lead at Old Abbey Tap House, and a former core part of the regeneration and events team at Islington Mill, Jess is a freelance producer and leads up the Do It Ourselves music project.

Dr Monica B. Pearl

Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in Literature & Film at the University of Manchester, and co-organiser of the Sexuality Summer School, Monica writes on literature, AIDS activism, queer theory, opera, cinema, gay identity, and more. An active member of the queer community in Manchester, Monica is also a former member of ACT UP New York.

Harri Shanahan

Harri is an artist, musician, animator, filmmaker, and director. They co-directed and animated the ground-breaking Rebel Dykes film and are part of the band, Glimmerpit.

Greg is a freelance creative producer, curator, and writer. Formerly he worked as Festival Director of GAZE Film Festival; Creative Director of Superbia arts and culture programme at Manchester Pride; and in the core regeneration team at Islington Mill. Founder of the Homeless Film Festival, Dean was formerly part of the staff team at HOME arts centre in Manchester, and co-founded arts and culture venues The Talleyrand in Leveshulme, and The Nico Ditch in Ashton.

Fundraising and social value consultant, passionate about bringing people, charities and businesses together to deliver positive social change.

Rob Martin, Website, Content, Social, Marketing.

Rob is a freelance marketing consultant, photographer and writer. He has worked in arts and culture for the likes of Manchester International Festival, journalism as the editor of Time Out Manchester, and social inclusion with Result CIC.
